Utah — Legacy Esthetics License
Utah's Legacy Esthetics License represents the former Esthetician license classification. Utah generally stopped issuing new licenses in this classification after January 1, 2026, except for qualifying individuals who had already begun an approved esthetics program or apprenticeship before the transition deadline. Existing license holders may continue to renew the license.

Status: Prohibited
Microneedling is outside the permitted scope of a Utah Esthetician license; Utah rules reserve use of an approved microneedling device to a Master Esthetician.
